Job Description:


- Performs manufacturing engineering work relating to production processes.
- Plans & oversees manufacturing equipment related to production processes. 
- Assists in planning of equipment, workflow sequence, production methods and equipment utilization.
- Focus on quality of products produced in the production systems.
- Track, analyze and record equipment overall effectiveness and identify process improvements.
- Identify & implement process cost reductions.
- Maintain manufacturing excellence on all equipment.
- Create equipment preventive maintenance procedures.
- Assist in training of production operators and maintenance personnel on production equipment.
- Work in team environment with Quality and Application Engineers on current. Production issues and future customer programs. 
- Safety awareness is a priority requirement. 
o Adhere to safety rules and practices.
o Identify safety equipment and provide safety training on production processes.
o Promote safety in all activities and be a leader in dealing with safety issues through-out the facility. 
- Create and update production floor documents relating to production equipment:
o Process flows, PFMEA, control plans, operator work instructions, routing standards.
- Plan and oversee the installation and startup of manufacturing equipment. 
o Train operators and maintenance personnel on newly installed equipment.
- Plan and define product packaging specifications and assist Purchasing Department in implementing the packaging specifications. 
Qualifications:


- BS degree in Engineering and 3-5 years experience with manufacturing assembly processes.
- Hands-on mechanical experience with electro\mechanical production equipment.
- Desire to spend time on production floor dealing with equipment issues. 
- Good problem solving techniques.
- Team oriented
- Likes working with people.
